After a very wet winter season that created endless delays, renovation work on the Town of Discovery Bay Dog Park will begin again starting June 3rd. Crews will begin with removing the old basketball court asphalt, creating new curbing, adding specialized bark, and completing turf and irrigation work.
During the interim, a temporary dog park will be set up behind the pool on the southside of the Community Center. The Community will see temporary fencing going up shortly and once complete, the current dog park location will be closed entirely until all renovation work has been completed.
NOTE: Dog owners should bring water when utilizing the temporary dog park as there will be no access to drinking fountains for people or animals.
We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to complete the renovation work as quickly as possible. For up-to-date information on our progress, please check our website at www.todb.ca.gov
