The Town of Discovery Bay’s first off leash dog park opened in April 2015 at the Community Center. The park is about an acre is size and includes shade, benches, water stations, and a basket of play toys.
The park was funded entirely with outside donations and volunteer labor.
The site was chosen due to its relatively isolated location at the Community Center and the low cost to modify the site.
The District is currently seeking volunteers as well as donations to help cover the $5,000 needed for the cost of new fencing, park benches and pet waste and watering stations.
How to Help
