East Contra Costa County has an extensive public transit system. Fixed Route Bus service, Express service and Paratransit is served by TriDelta Transit.

The closest Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) stations to Discovery Bay are in Pittsburg and Dublin.  From those stations, riders are able to access the entire bay area transportation network.
